At the end of their US tour in June 1985, The Sisters of Mercy effectively split up. They returned in November 1987 with Floodland (UK #9), and, still supported by the reliable Doktor Avalanche, Eldritch hired former Gun Club and Fur Bible bassist Patricia Morrison to complete the new line-up.
Featuring hit singles such as This Corrosion (UK #7), Dominion (UK #13), and Lucretia My Reflection (UK #20), the albumās production duties were shared with the famed Meat Loaf writer Jim Steinman. Available for National Album Day on 1LP black ice galaxy vinyl for a limited run.
